The title is what I refer to you guys as. Especially since we've split up and I've gotten new roommates and I had to clarify between current roommates and eternal (not old) roommates. Cause I feel like that roommate bond that we share will last forever! (Face and I used to joke about being roommates in the celestial kingdom).
So because we are roommates forever, just thought I'd let you know that I owe you all M&Ms. This is kind of a big deal for me, being the first time I've owed such things. I just wanted to share that with you guys. :)
So, I pretty much have a boyfriend now, as of like two hours ago. Crazy, huh? His name is Bryan (with a Y). By strange coincidence he was actually in mine and Face's freshman ward, though we didn't really know him back then. (he's also friends with Steve on facebook, but doesn't remember how he knew him). small world right? He's super skinny (like me), as in when we sit on a piano bench together, there's extra room. He's from maryland and works in IT. so we'll see where this goes!
Anyway,
love and M&Ms to all my eternal roommates,
Man Thighs

Best Parade EVER!
Here is a post from Jared and my blog (I think I've invited all of you, if not, let me know and I will do so ASAP). I think you'll all enjoy it. Miss you all so much.
Happy 4th of July! Logan was very excited (see above) to celebrate his first Fourth. We really enjoyed the weekend. The other day we went down with some friends to Center Street and enjoyed the festivities (aka a Pina Colada). Jared even okayed me to get some hair accessories. Saturday night we watched fireworks from our house, which was very fun. Sunday we got invited over for a BBQ at our friends place - here is Logan being entertained by his Uncle Checho/Sergio (he and his wife are expecting twins in October).BUT, today is what we've all been waiting for . . . the Provo Parade and a chance to see my sister Annelisa (currently serving as a missionary in Provo)!!! We were all ready. Jared went over early this morning and claimed a spot. We made this wonderful eye-catching poster yesterday in preparation for this big event.
We all waiting very patiently and clapped at the appropriate times for the various floats, bands, school mascots, and veterans. Logan, such a stud. (Actually, he was such a champ - facing the hot sun for 2 hours during his naptime and he never cried!)
There were many important people in the parade and exciting things to see.
Pirates . . .
Important historical figures (from right, that's Nephi, Joseph Smith, and Moses). But most important of all . . . was my sister!!!!!! People stood up and the cheering commenced (not joking). Here's the banner we'd been waiting to see ALL parade (missionaries were near the end).
Anyone recognize a certain S/sister?
We waved and saw each other and I still wasn't sure if she was going to come over, but when I saw another Sister pushing her over, I thought, "Hey, I've got a chance!" So I started waving her over.
And she CAME OVER!!! We hugged, I told her I loved her, she told me the same, then she was gone! As I watched step back in line with her fellow missionaries, someone behind me said, "Man, I miss her." It was one of Annelisa's old roommates. I miss Annelisa too.
Here's the awesome video our friend Jordan got:
Best 4th of July EVER!!!A huge and ginormous THANK YOU to the Furnesses for not only coming along with us and celebrating the 4th, but also agreeing to and doing a blue-ribbon, gold-medal job at photo/video chronicling our sighting of Annelisa. You guys are the best!
What a great day.

WOFYB Reunion - Martums but + Nemo
Well a reunion with the roomies never disappoints. Face stayed true to herself by spilling some food . . . water on Sam.
By so doing, Face allowed Sam to be true to HERSELF - she had to change her pants! When I saw the water debacle, I ran out of the room - no, not to get a towel, to get my camera! Sam did change into some athletic shorts that resembled her beloved Prince Cinders shorts!
And what roomie reunion is complete without a bag and puppy chow?
We had lots of fun eating, talking, updating, reminiscing, watching the latest Community, looking at Face's pictures, ogling Logan, and enjoying the amazing and one-of-a-kind company!
Steve and Martums were there in spirit. Next time guys.

Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth?
I do.
That's what I said last Friday when I was sworn in to testify for some clients (3 girls) in their custody case! I was subpoena'd and had to go to court. It was weird and a little scary. But the judge went our way, so that was good. I just wanted you all to know.
Anyway, I have like 2 minutes before I have to go team on a case with another therapist in my cohort, but I've been meaning to post and show you all I have not forgotten you. I miss you all. Brian's big project for studio is due on Friday so he's spending super late nights (and probably some all-nighters) on campus, so I found myself home alone and wishing I had some girls to watch some Grey's with me. I started the second season as I typed away at my thesis and felt so comforted by the familiar sound of home.
Sorry I don't have more time. And sorry I hate the phone and therefore never talk to any of you. Please don't take it personally. Graduation is August 9th and I'm praying I get everything done by then. Hope you're all doing well! Please post!
lots and lots of good southern lovin,
Dr. Nanny
PS - When's the next WOFYB reunion? And where!?

What Fun We Had
Man, we had so much fun at Annie's Bridal Shower. Do you remember, Annie? Of course you wanted to do the classic make-a-wedding-dress-out-of-toilet-paper game.
Then you opened presents.
And it wouldn't be a proper party without Puppy Chow, would it?
Oh man, I love you roomies. Good times.
Hey, those overalls look familiar . . .

Blast from the Past
Jared, Logan, and I ran into an old friend at Wal-Mart this week - Taylor Siebold. He was searching for his wife. Then as we were shopping, we ran into them a few more times, but each time avoided each other because we'd already said hello.
And also, today for breakfast, we used ground black pepper with an "A" on it. Thanks Annie. :)

Nurse Phyllis!!!!
So I just thought I'd give you all an update on the life of Nurse Phyllis. I am completely swamped with classes and work (surprise surprise). But this semester is pretty fun. In my clinicals at the hospital, I feel like things are coming together and making more sense. I did a shift in the ER which I LOVED! I didn't think I would, but I really enjoyed it. This week I did two rotations, one in Labor and Delivery and one in Mother Baby. I really really liked these too! So it's exciting that I'm finally finding something that I like. That's pretty much it for me! No boy stories.... sorry :(
