Yeah, Megnog and Merry had their baby! Finally little Tom is here, only his name is Logan!
In a lot less exciting news, I did promise stories about Relief Society. So on Thursday there was a massive issue of callings, seriously over half the ward showed up in 15 minute intervals to recieve callings from the bishopric (one of the crazies of student wards, and the council stake in particular). I of course already had my calling, but they encouraged us to be there so that we could greet people after they got their calling and just get to know people generally. I was chatting with one girl, Christy, and the exec. sec, Jarron. They were discussing how Christy was supposed to have gone next but another girl had taken her turn. I comforted her by saying, "Don't worry you can just beat her up when she gets out." This seemed to make her feel better. (See why I got this calling, it's my nurturing nature!). I think it shocked the exec. sec. though, he was all, "What kind of Relief Society President are you?" THE WOFYB KIND!!! yeah!
In hindsight, I don't know why I bothered to post this, since Megan is the only one who comments and she is obviously indisposed. Since it will take a while for her to read this I will tell a story about her. We hung out last (I know you're all super jealous) and as we sat on the coach she spread out some towels and explain it was in case her water broke. Is it appropriate to say she's Watching Out For Her Uterus? I thought it was a nice variation. Not as catchy though, and definetly harder to say in an outrageous Austrailian accent. Trust me. I've tried.

Fear not Sam - even though I just pushed an 8 pound baby out my va-j-j, I will still be the one to comment on your post! :) I probably wouldn't be, but we're actually in the hospital again (Logan has pretty bad jaundice, but he's under the lights and we should be able to go home tomorrow. Still pray for him though - RS Pres. prayers count double. :) ), so I'm kind of just cruising the internet. I enjoyed reading your story. I think it's so funny how people think callings have certain kinds of stereotypes and when people don't fit those, it's like wrong or something. Keep up the good work in breaking down social stereotypes. Speaking of callings, Jared's dad just got called to be branch president. He's freaking out, but he will be great. Just thought I'd let you know. I also enjoyed your rendition of my towel precaution - and for the record, I can't speak for anyone else, but I definitely was jealous that you got to hang out with me. See you soon Sammy.
I'm sorry to hear, Logan has juandice. James did too when he was born and they had them take home a light machine and put him in it throughout the day. I'm glad you will probably be home tomorrow, if you're up to visitors. Phyl and I should come by soon and worship your baby.
