I have seen and overall really enjoyed. My big pet peeves is when they have the characters act out of character, but they're using the same director from the last movie so this like never happens. yeah!
Its not a perfect film, Five is still my ultimate favorite. I felt like it wasn't as consistent thematically and story-wise as five. There was one scene I hated, not just because its not in the book, but because it's a major change that has no emotional impact on the characters at all! Which makes the scene pointless unsuspenseful danger.
But I'm willing to forgive this because it also has some of my most FAVORITE scenes ever. They finally know how to use Ron, and the actor pulls it off perfectly.
Final verdict: 3 stars
Steve and I saw it and liked it overall. I do think they added in some scenes that did nothing for the story, and then left out some exciting scenes at the end. That was a bit annoying. I also didn't like how dark they made it, but I guess it is portraying dark times so a bit of gloom is to be expected.
