So I have a really funny story and when it happened I immediately thought, "this needs to go on the WOFYB blog!" So here it goes: It was the end of June and the first day of my pathophysiology class (it's a killer class). I had bought the book (which is a beast) and gone to class and was pretty much terrified for the coming seven weeks. It was going to be a hard class. So after class I went to Costco to pick up a few things. I went to leave and I backed out of my parking stall when suddenly Ruby (my car) started beeping at me. I looked around for flashing lights but I couldn't figure out what was wrong. By now I was at the end of the parking lot where no one parks, so I pulled over and looked around. Finally I noticed that my passenger seatbelt light was flashing. Apparently Ruby thought my Pathophysiology book was a person and so she started beeping and flashing the warning lights at me to let me know that my passenger was not buckled in. Needless to say, I now make sure that my book is securely fastened. "Buckle up, it's the law"

That's awesome Phyllis. I love that you buckled up your book, but also that you took pictures of everything! :)
I HATE those buckle up things. All of the mission cars had them, and they'd beep at me as my companion pulled out and I was trying to get situated. Sometimes I'd keep my butt off the seat, so it wouldn't detect me and beep at me.
One time when it was beeping and bugging me, I said, "Oh stop!" and then my companion thought I was talking to her, and slammed on the breaks. Then I had to awkwardly explain that I was talking to the car. We'd only been companions a week and she thought I was crazy!
